Members of the Lawrence Police Detectives Division executed an arrest warrant
at a Byron Ave. residence.   Detectiveslocated and arrested Jonathan Taveras, age 25, of Lawrence. Mr. Taveras’ arrest came after a lengthy
investigation conducted by Detectives William Colantuoni and PaulMacMillan.  Through their investigation, this
arrest was made in connection with a shooting on Hancock Street and a homeinvasion on Lowell Street, both of which took place on September 16^th.   At the time of  Taveras’ arrest he wasin possession of an illegal loaded firearm.  He has been charged with Armed Burglary and several
Firearms related charges.

            There have been several interviewsand viewing of surveillance video, with regards to this case.  The investigation remains active and more
