[ARCHIVED] Lawrence City Hall to Reopen 7/13: By Appointment

Mayor Daniel Rivera announces the re-opening of Lawrence City Hall on Monday July, 13th, 2020. Following over two months of closure due to Coronavirus, city hall will re-open for appointments only until further notice. “Since the beginning of this global pandemic, the health and safety of our residents and employees has been at the forefront of every decision,” said Mayor Dan Rivera. “After much preparation and safeguarding from the city, we look forward to welcoming residents back in to City Hall to conduct business on an appointment basis while we continue to focus on getting our testing numbers up and our Coronavirus numbers down.” Residents and those needing to conduct city business can see details below for how to book an appointment.

Residents and members of the public looking to book an appointment within city hall can do so by calling the city department to book an appointment over the phone (see contact list below) or by visiting www.cityoflawrence.com/booking.

When making an appointment, residents will be prompted to provide contact information, as well as self-certify that they are not currently sick or under a mandated quarantine. Upon arrival for an appointment, residents will be required to enter City Hall via the Pemberton Way entrance, closest to the City Hall parking lot. A mask or face requiring will be required to enter the building and must stay on while conducting business in City Hall.
