[ARCHIVED] City Camera System Goes Live

Mayor Daniel Rivera, with Police Chief Roy Vasque, will hold a press conference on Monday, April 22nd to roll out the city wide camera system. These cameras will be strategically placed throughout the city to detect and deter crime city-wide. Members of the press will be able to view the crime camera setup at the police headquarters to see live footage. Details are below.

Background on City Wide Crime Cameras:

The cameras will serve multiple purposes including crime prevention, scene reconstruction and evidence gathering. It is also a key resource that aids not only the police department, but other municipal officials to secure vulnerable areas in the city by producing real time views of both crime scenes and emergency scenes.
