LAWRENCE

This morning at approximately 2:45 AM, Lawrence Police responded to a Bowdoin Street address for a medical call.   A five year old Lawrence boy who was attending a family gathering at the Bowdoin Street address, with several adults and other children, was found unresponsive.  He was treated on scene by members of the Lawrence Police and Fire Departments, as well as Paramedics and EMTs from the Lawrence General Hospital.  He was transported by ambulance to that facility where he unfortunately passed away.
Based on the initial investigation foul play is not suspected.  A prior medical condition may have been a factor in this tragic event.  An autopsy is being preformed by the Commonwealth’s Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.  There is no further information at this time.
